The BLTS Archive - Vengeance by ILuvKate --- As the Doctor injected B'Elanna with the drug to counteract the paralyzing drug his evil counterpart had given her, Janeway glanced at him. "Step back, Doctor," she warned him. He had barely done so when B'Elanna, with an enraged snarl, surged up off the bio-bed, lunging for the hologram. Instantaneously, Janeway seized her shoulders and shoved her back down. "B'Elanna!" she yelled. "Stop it!" She put every ounce of command force into her voice, not even sure that the furious Klingon would even hear her. As B'Elanna smacked back down against the bio-bed, and heard the Captain yell, she came to herself with a start, staring at Janeway in confusion. The Captain had her pinned with a powerful grip on her shoulders. Not that she couldn't have easily shrugged it off had she so desired, but that wasn't what she needed to do just now. Breathing hard, she tried to calm the boiling rage within her. "I'm sorry, Captain," she said finally, lying still so Janeway would know she was under control. Janeway studied her for a moment and then cautiously released her grip on her Chief Engineer and stepped back warily. "Doctor," Janeway spoke to the Doctor who stood observing, a distressed look on his features. "Deactivate yourself, please, and excuse us." He nodded once and deactivated himself. As he disappeared from view, Janeway turned to B'Elanna. "B'Elanna, you have to realize that the Doctor was not himself when he paralyzed you," she said. Still trying to calm the fury that still simmered not too far below the surface, B'Elanna closed her eyes and breathed deeply. "I--told him--*not* to fool with his personality subroutine," she growled harshly. "I know you did, and he ceased the activity, but the damage had already been done," Janeway pointed out. "Perhaps we should just re-initialize him to make sure nothing else nasty decided to pop out," B'Elanna said. "We'll do nothing of the sort," Janeway said sternly. B'Elanna, jaw clenched, didn't reply. Janeway leaned toward her. "...B'Elanna..." she said warningly. B'Elanna blew out an irritated sigh. "All right," she responded in clipped tones. Janeway eyed her suspiciously, but said nothing. B'Elanna pushed herself upright and swung her legs over the side of the bio-bed. Janeway moved closer to her and put a hand on her thigh. B'Elanna stared down at it for a moment. "The son of a bitch tried to grope me, too," she said. "Twice." She put her hand on top of Janeway's as Janeway stepped closer to her. Janeway kissed her gently. "You can't really blame him for that, now can you?" she whispered with a grin. "Kathryn!" B'Elanna protested indignantly. Kathryn laughed and pulled her off the bio- bed. As B'Elanna stood upright, Kathryn embraced her, kissing her again. "Ah, my fiery little Klingon," she said affectionately, stroking her lover's cheek. "I nearly had heart failure when Tuvok and I found you unconscious in Sickbay." B'Elanna circled Kathryn's waist with her arms and laid her head on her shoulder, sighing. Kathryn held her close, stroking her dark, silky hair. "You've been through a terrible experience, my love," Kathryn said. "What you need is a nice quiet relaxing evening. I'll give you a massage tonight." "Mmmmm," B'Elanna purred appreciatively. "Sounds wonderful." She stayed in Kathryn's embrace for another few minutes and then stepped away. "I need to get down to Enginee--" "No, you don't," Kathryn interrupted her. "Go to quarters and rest. Everything's under control in Engineering." B'Elanna started to protest half-heartedly, but gave it up. Kathryn was adamant, and besides, she did feel wrung out. "Aren't you going to let me have just a tiny bit of revenge on him?" she asked plaintively. "No," Kathryn said firmly. "And that's final." "After all he did?" B'Elanna protested. "He could have seriously injured me. He threatened to *remove my tongue!*" "I seem to remember a certain Chief Engineer chasing her Captain all over an alien planet threatening to remove her *life,*" Kathryn said musingly. B'Elanna stared at her, a wounded expression on her face. "Kathryn," she said reproachfully. "I wasn't--" "Yourself," Kathryn finished. "Neither was he, B'Elanna." B'Elanna threw up her hands. "All right!" she said in capitulation. "I give up." Kathryn drew her close and kissed her soundly. "That's my B'Elanna," she said smiling. "Now get to quarters. Rest." "Okay," B'Elanna said. "I'll see you this evening." --- That evening, B'Elanna, naked, lay on a soft blanket spread out on the deck of their quarters, prostrate, head pillowed on folded arms. Kathryn, in a silk robe of deep midnight blue came over to her holding some vials of scented oil. She knelt beside her lover, admiring her trim figure with its finely muscled back and thighs. She straddled B'Elanna, sitting astride her hips. B'Elanna sighed deeply, content, relaxed. Kathryn began with her shoulders kneading the muscles, feeling the tension in them. B'Elanna was by far not over her anger at the Doctor. She would bear close watching for a while. After all, there was the Klingon honor thing to bear in mind. She dug her thumbs deep into the knotted muscles of B'Elanna's shoulders, hearing B'Elanna give a small grunt. She worked her way from B'Elanna's shoulders slowly down the strong muscles of her back, feeling the tension in each spot, massaging it away. She felt her lover relax gradually under her ministrations. She moved back to massage the lower part of B'Elanna's back, bending to place a soft kiss on each of B'Elanna's cheeks, as B'Elanna murmured drowsily, moving restively. "Keep that up," B'Elanna mumbled, "and we'll never get to the massage." Kathryn chuckled and reached for one of the vials. A short while later, B'Elanna was deeply asleep, lulled by the rhythm of Kathryn's massage and the pleasantly scented massage oil. Kathryn rose quietly and stood, stretching. She was aroused, but no doubt B'Elanna would be in a mood to make love when she awoke. An anticipatory smile curved her lips at the thought. She moved over to the replicator and ordered a glass of wine and sat sipping it on the couch. B'Elanna stirred and opened her eyes. She felt wonderful. She stretched luxuriously. Then she rolled over and sat up. Spying Kathryn on the couch, she rose lithely to her feet and padded over to her. Kathryn looked up from the novel she was reading and laid it aside, placing her now-empty wineglass on the table. She held out her arms and B'Elanna curled up in her arms. Kathryn nuzzled her cheek. "Feel better?" she murmured. "Like a million bucks," B'Elanna murmured, cupping one of Kathryn's breasts through the thin silk of her robe. Kathryn breathed deeply at her touch, her arousal increasing. They turned their heads and their lips met in a long, deep, sweet kiss. B'Elanna uncoiled from Kathryn's lap and stood, drawing Kathryn to her feet. "Come over here," she whispered, indicating the blanket. "I want to make love to you." She laid Kathryn down on the blanket and poised herself over her, her nipples brushing the silk of Kathryn's robe. She lowered her head and captured Kathryn's mouth with her own, savoring the taste of the wine Kathryn had drunk. Kathryn's tongue sought hers and their hands roved over warm silky skin, teasing, straying just a hair to breasts and thighs and then away with butterfly touches. Deep, achingly sweet orgasms rolled upward from bellies to radiate out through chests and then back down through thighs tensing and relaxing in spasms of pleasure. "Oh, B'Elanna," Kathryn murmured as her climax washed through her, her thighs around B'Elanna's hips, closing briefly and then falling away. "Ahhh, wasn't that good?" B'Elanna said softly as her own body's contractions mirrored her own response to pleasure, and she settled into the curves and hollows of Kathryn's body. They lay entwined listening to the fading thud of their heartbeats. "Are you totally relaxed, love?" Kathryn murmured. "Loose as a goose," B'Elanna responded lazily. Kathryn giggled. After a few minutes, B'Elanna rolled Kathryn over on her back. "I want you again," she whispered against Kathryn's mouth, parting Kathryn's lips with her tongue and kissing her hotly. "Mmmhh," Kathryn grunted. "You've got me. Take me." She tangled her fingers in B'Elanna's thick dark hair, pulling her mouth more tightly to hers. She sensed B'Elanna's fierceness in the hunger of her kiss and braced herself for the intense physicality that B'Elanna sometimes showed in her lovemaking, often leaving Kathryn bruised, sometimes bloody. Kathryn enjoyed the infrequent occurrences of B'Elanna's Klingon roughness, knowing it was something that B'Elanna didn't always have control over and had to release it. Kathryn had learned to match it with an answering brutality that came nowhere near matching B'Elanna's but it seemed to provide a certain level of satisfaction and pleasure for the young, hot-blooded Klingon part of her. --- Some time later, B'Elanna rolled off her with a rasping exclamation, to sit, huddled into herself, trying to rein in her body's wild impulses, trying to remember that her lover was not another Klingon woman, but a relatively fragile human. She was aware of Kathryn lying quietly behind her, and she knew the bite on Kathryn's shoulder was throbbing painfully and easing blood. She'd heard the crack of a couple of ribs, too, and cursed her Klingon need for violence. She wiped a sweaty hand across her flushed, damp, face and turned back to Kathryn, who had not changed position. She glanced at the purple-tinged bite on Kathryn's shoulder and at the dark blood oozing from it, and swore softly. Sighing, she got to her feet and walked over to the computer console, picking up a robe as she went. "Torres to Kes," she hailed the young Ocampa, belting the robe about her. "Kes, here, B'Elanna." Kes' serene face filled the computer display. "Kes, can you come to our quarters?" B'Elanna asked. "I've cracked a couple of Kathryn's ribs, and there's a bite." "I'll be right there," Kes said. "Thank you," B'Elanna responded. She switched the computer off and went back over to kneel by Kathryn, whose face was set in pain. "Ahh, my love," B'Elanna said tenderly, "how do you put up with me?" "Shhh. I don't want to hear that," Kathryn admonished her, speaking carefully, because it hurt to speak. "Stow it." Kes arrived and knelt beside the Captain, removing instruments from her medikit. She quickly healed the bite and scratches Kathryn had and then set to work on Kathryn's ribs. B'Elanna watched, sitting cross-legged, chin sunk in hand. Kes glanced up at her. "The Doctor is very distressed by what his counterpart did to you, B'Elanna," she said. "He hopes you understand." B'Elanna glanced at Kathryn. "I do," she said neutrally. "She does," Kathryn said pointedly. Kes smiled, knowing the exchange that must have gone on between them. "There," she said, snapping off the osteoregenerator. "Good as new, Captain." Kathryn sat up and squeezed Kes' shoulder. "Thank you, Kes, for getting out of bed to come down here." "Again," B'Elanna put in ruefully. "It's no trouble at all," Kes assured them. "I'm always glad to do it." She rose. "Good night, Captain. B'Elanna." She left the quarters. "Come on, lover," Kathryn said, rising. "Let's hit the sack. 0600 comes early." They walked arm in arm into the bedroom. --- Copyright 1998 ILuvKate --- The End
